Pinsolle & Moliets

With the first tournament in Egypt coming up in a couple of days I took the option of playing in two local one-day pro events before heading to the Red Sea. The idea was to make sure I would be match-fit on the Pro Golf Tour at the start of the season. The events were played on consecutive days at Pinsolle and Moliets and the field was composed of a mix of playing pros and teaching pros. Both courses were in great condition and tested different skills in my game.

Danish Amateur Championship

My first time playing in Denmark and what a treat it was. The course was simply magnificent even though my golf was not quite as spectacular, much like the weather in fact! We were playing in Silkeborg Ry Golfclub which is one of the top courses in Denmark and is also where Thomas Bjørn started his golf career.

Open de Bretagne Qualifying

One round and a chance to play the Challenge tour event of this week. Monday qualifiers are not your usual tournament. The 18 hole format means mistakes are so costly yet you still need to play very aggressively because only the top 2 scores earn a spot. I have been feeling good about my game recently so why not me!
