Association
I just wanted to give a heads up about Apex Sport which is an association based in the Lot-et-Garonne who are supporting my golfing activities. This newly formed association is (at the time of writing) supporting two professional players on the Pro Golf Tour of which I am one of them. They are planning to support other sportsmen and sportswomen in the future after a trial period.

Grace à votre don, vous contribuerez aux dépenses engendrées par l’activité pratiquée incluant par exemple l’entraînement, les équipements, les engagements, les déplacements ou encore les frais de participation aux compétitions. Ainsi, vous participerez au développement de projets sportifs et promouvez la pratique du sport.
Hassle Free
Having an association willing to support young amateurs and professionals can simplify the process for individuals or companies who might like to donate something to the cause but don't necessarily want to go down the sponsorship route with all that entails: contracts, obligations etc.
Nice to Have
Entities based in France may be eligible to a tax break depending upon their circumstances and subject to some restrictions, - but this surely isn't the motivating factor for giving financial support to Apex Sport.
Interested
If you to support Apex Sport and indirectly help me with my season, a campaign has been created via the website helloasso.com to collect funds. The helloasso.com website can take donations online and then pass them on to Apex Sport. The website (helloasso.com) does not take a cut of any donation you make, but they will propose a voluntary contribution to support their services - if you can make a small contribution to them too, that helps everyone who uses their services not just Apex Sport.
Simple Process
The process is simple. Click on the link below to go to the donations page. Choose whether you would like to make a regular donation or a one-off donation and then enter the details required to make a payment. Please be aware helloasso.com are obliged to collect certain personal information because of the tax break available in France. Shortly after completion you will receive an email with a receipt of payment in the form of a pdf attachment. This document is your proof of a charitable donation to Apex Sport which you may be able to use to offset some of your tax bill in France. If you are not a resident for tax purposes in France I do not know if the document can be used similarly in your jurisdiction.
